Man, 18, charged following Walton burglary and police chase

A TEENAGER has been charged with burglary and aggravated vehicle taking following a burglary at a property in Walton-on-Thames earlier this month.
Shane Warburton, 18, will appear at Guildford Crown Court on January 31.
Shane Warburton, 18, was also charged with driving whilst disqualified and driving without insurance.
Mr Warburton, of Fulmer Close, Hampton, appeared at East Surrey Magistrates Court yesterday (Tuesday, January 15) where he was released on bail to appear at Guildford Crown Court on Thursday, January 31.
The charges relate to a burglary in Sidney Road, Walton-on-Thames, and a police pursuit which ended in Hampton Court Road.
The offences occurred on Saturday, January 5 and Mr Warburton was arrested on Thursday, 10 January.
Two other men were arrested on January 5 in connection with this incident.
One of the men has been released with no further action being taken against him. The other man remains on police bail until Wednesday, February 13.
Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses to either the burglary or the incident in Hampton Court Road. Anyone with information is asked to call Surrey Police on 101, quoting reference EL/13/118.
