Surrey Police is keeping an open mind about any possible links between the sex exposure incident in Hersham Road, Walton-on-Thames on Monday, February 20, and a previous exposure incident in Manor Road, Walton, which took place on Monday, January 23.
A spokesman said: "We are keeping an open mind about any possible link. Although there is no direct evidence that the offences are connected police are in the process of reviewing the previous offence in light of the latest incident.
"Any possible links or connections between the incidents which come to light will be thoroughly investigated by Surrey Police."
I know we would rather hear this than having a serial flasher in our midst but I cannot help thinking that this is very unusual for Walton and that it is rather worrying. The two suspect descriptions are rather similar. Hopefully police will catch the suspect or suspects soon. But these things are never as easy as ITV 1's Whitechapel makes them out to be!
