What do you make of the new collection arrangements? Do you feel you’re helping to save the planet? Or are fortnightly collections just helping the council save money while pushing the responsibility for environmental issues on to residents?

I pay my council tax for Elmbridge's services and other than a few minor things such as upgrading play areas, rubbish collection is all I get for my money. I would like a weekly collection back where I throw out what I want and the council sorts it - ok not perhaps I'm not on green message (thank god!) but I think i pay enough for the council to do this. If they can't do this I'll take my customer to a firm that will .... oh hang on ..... Over a barrel - or in this case a wheelie bin!
