How do people feel about the Olympic Cycle Trials to be held in Surrey on Sunday August 14th?? Lots of road closures - inconvieniance etc.
Are we proud to host the Olympics? Just not when it affects our area??

For the Olympic ones I'm quite happy to put up with the inconvenience. But this dummy run, I'm just not sure why it is taking place - what is it the organisers are hoping to find out? That said, the stretch of road heading out of Molesey towards Terrace Road, Walton on Thames, is like a billiard table. If it's road races we need to get the roads fixed I definitely vote for more!

Hmmmmmm I work at Silvermere Golf Club - we have signs up everywhere saying we're open!!

Its so dead quiet at the moment because you can only get to us via the A3!! So I dont think people will bother to try and get to us until later on.
