Walton-on-Thames residents urged to capture Elmbridge's sporting life

Do you think you can make an impact with your sports photos? Then why not join Elmbridge Borough Councils Photographic Competition this summer?
This year's photographic competition is part of the 'Elmbridge Celebrates' festival and the theme is 'This Sporting Life'. Judges will be looking for images that celebrate sport across Elmbridge. Sport is one of the few topics that present a wealth of opportunities to capture dramatic and stunning images that will stay in the mind of viewers for a lifetime. Whether it's the moment of victory, the despair of defeat or the sheer enjoyment of the challenge, we want to see photographs that show some great action
Entries are welcome from the following three age groups: 8-12, 13-18 Year Olds, and 19+.
The closing date for entries is 28 September 2012. Judging will take place at the beginning of October and winning entries notified by 19 October.
