On your bike for a challenge in Walton on Thames

Businesses and organisations in Walton on Thames are being invited to take part in the Surrey Workplace Cycle Challenge.

The event  is now in its third year and aims to get Surrey's employers and employees on their bikes.

The competition, taking place from June 12 to 25, will see participants log their journeys and compete against other businesses in the area for the Surrey Workplace Challenge title. The winner will be the organisation with the highest percentage of their employees riding bikes.

Alongside trophies and the chance to win cycling goodies, those taking part will reap the benefit of a fitter, healthier and happier workforce, who are doing their bit for the environment. It is also a great way to show your support for Team Great Britain Bike Week 2011, which starts on June 18.
